What was so bad about The Thin Red Line?

Too "trippy" for me. I like my war movies pretty straight forward.

Nick Nolte grated on me too. He didn't stop shouting and being overtly aggro. It seemed a bit over the top to me.

Not to mention that I don't particularly like the following actors:

Sean Penn
George Clooney
John Cusack
Woody Harrelson
Jared Leto

I never care who's in the movie, as they never act like themselves, but who they're supposed to be in the movie....

...The Rock on the other hand, always acts like himself. He literally raises that god damn eyebrow in every movie...hope to god he doesnt do it in the Doom movie (which already looks ruined..a SWAT TEAM? No Mars? No Hell?)

It really doesn't look good. I might go see it after seeing a good movie. Stay at the movies for a movie marathon and watch like 4 movies. The most movies I watched in one day was 5

The trailer is horrible, doesnt even give a basic plot about the movie except that some white folks are with indians.......... how can you make that into a good movie without killing etc...... looks retarded
