Worst and only bonfire
 

Yeah. Had a bonfire tonight.

First we went to Pismo, but we couldn't because of the nails in the palettes. Then to another beach (forgot the name), couldn't do it there because their were no fire pits or something. Then we finally go to one, but couldn't get the fucker lit because we were at first using gasoline (burns too fast). So we got some lighter fluid and finally it started to burn, just a LITTLE bit.. then.. I provoked it with my gangster wood throwing skills and BOOM it went ABLAZE.
Had some cake and then left. My eyes are burning because I got too close to it.

Their were a bunch of Christian people there. None of us drink anyway, some smoke though. oOo:

Seniors get 2 days off from classes to wood collect and build the fire. The night inbetween the days we build we sleep outside around the huge pile to "guard" it (one year back in the 60's P'burg [our rival] came and started it early. I doubt that will ever happen again, but it's still a bunch of fun to stay up for 30 some hours doing hard work).

We have the oldest highschool football rivalry between two states (Easton from PA and Philipsburg from NJ). It was played on ESPN a few years back and I think they're airing next year's as well.

You play teams out of state? eek:

just for that one game on every Thanksgiving Day. It doesn't count at all for anything. It's just a rivalry we have. We had to play 3 games in one week this year only which 2 counted for anything (1 district playoff game, turkey day, then the next day another district playoff game).
