IPOD Shuffle
 

I was wondering what you guys thought of Apples new IPOD Shuffle. Im looking for a decent MP3 player and the IPOD is so deadly but id rather not pay 399.99 CDN for one. Anyways I spotted this over at futureshop and was wondering what others thought about it.

ipod mini is a rip off, its like just a bit cheaper than the ipod, but it looks gayer and has a much smaller hd.

Learn the words to all your favorite songs and just sing to yourself. It'll work out a lot cheaper.

Just get a discman that can read MP3 CD's, and you're set.

call me gay, but I kinda like the Ipod Shuffle. it's cheap. BUT i would only buy one if there wass a 1gig of storage one, not 512, 512 will only fit like two albums on. but for 512MB and at that price with NO screen? i might aswell buy a 256MB one that has ascreen.

oops, my mistake. I was using my friends mp3 as an example, which cant be right, now im confused oOo:

make it 3 to 3 and a half albums. thats approximately 70 songs... hmm, thats not bad I 'spose.

It depends on what bitrate you rip your music at. Even if you ripped using Lame APS, you'd be able to squeeze 4/5 albums on there. Rip lower at 128kbps and you could get 10+ I'd say, at a guess.
