lol red wings.

I believe the correct sayings would be
/game /nhl /hockey or maybe for the fans /lockout. |
[quote:89965]Chelios and Hatcher, both Americans, have played in the Olympics. Both were on the 1998 team that didn't win a medal in Nagano, Japan, but did invite controversy by trashing several hotel rooms. Chelios was on the Olympic squad that won silver at Salt Lake City in 2002.[/quote:89965]
LOL [quote:89965]Chelios, whose parents are Greek, has also been toying with the idea of trying out for the Greek Olympic bobsled team for the 2006 Winter Games at Turin, Italy.[/quote:89965] and LOL. |

Still have the second msot stanley cups, while the red wings will always be in 3rd. I just love people who bash the Yankees in baseball for spending money...yet can cheer the red wings in hockey...when they're the most free spending team. |

They are just lucky we can't seem to make it to the stanley cup finals and whoop yall. |
BFD, at least Ihave seen the Wings win a few cups in my LIFETIME, which is more than you can say.

in hockey the difference can be seen between the top 2 teams 1.5 million and 27 million between the wings and the #10 team the caps and the diff between the 1st and last team is 56 million dollars.
we also Pay for all of it, just like every other team. The wings are a very popular team and always sell out, are in close prox to canada so their is a heavy hockey influnence in the state. The reason why people bash the yanks is because the difference between the top 2 teams the yanks and the red sox is 68 million dollars, between 1 and 10 is 102 million with the 1st and last difference of 156 million. Thats a HUGE fucking difference, which the yankees support by having their own cable network, etc.... The redwings add a component each year...Ie hatcher. they dont go out and get markus nasland, marty turco, mats sundin, peter forsberg and every fucking superstar player in the league. The yankees however have gotten in the last 3 years Jason Giambi, Alex rodriguez, kevin brown, gary sheffield, randy johnson...etc etc etc.....they fucking buy the entire fucking league up. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teams/salaries?team=nyy Thats a current salary mix...you have to think this year the wings lost hasek and hull. I doubt they carry the highest payroll next year. something the yanks will always do. |
Leafs > all, if the canadian teams had the money to buy players like detroit and the rangers, it wouldnt be much of a league

I think the Bruins' goal is actually to get to the playoffs and lose to Montreal no matter how much better than them we are.

That changed 2 nights ago where they agreed on a cap, but they couldn't decide on a number. ====== I was really wishing last night that the deal would go through. I went out and played some real hockey last night also. I guess i'll have to stick with that. It is really sad though that an entire season has to be canceled over a fucking dispute. Idiots can't negotiate. Everybody wants things, but won't give anything up on either side. NHL in the southern US is done. I wouldn't be suprised if a bunch of teams folded.
