it pretty much catalogs your mp3 directory by artist / album and retrieves album covers from the interweb ...

it supports tv / radio tuners ( i dont have but would be nice ) ... it will also catalog your video / dvd etc collection to be accesible thru the above interface.... pretty damn leet.

came with my computer, been using it for tv and dvds. pretty sweet

we have a media center PC at work. Pretty leet we listen to the radio on it and play cd's off it.

......whats the difference between using that and just WMP to run your audio and video?

Nothing really.

Media center is an OS...it basically has fancy graphics.

yea media center pcs are made to sit in your living room hooked up to your tv. you can tivo with it, listen to radio, cds, dvds all that shit

yea i have it here at home, its pretty sweet watching tv while on aim or something. plus you can record tv or dvd. i dont see the point in the remote, but it doesnt really matter.
