Greatest Achievements

even tho i didnt get the internship for philip morris usa i wanted, i did make it through the first 2 interviews (out of 3) just fine and it was my first time ever actually getting an interview like that. i wasnt one of the 2 out of 120+ who actually get the internship, but oh well.

anyway one of the questions i was asked was about my greatest achievement....i said i think my greatest achievement was turning my interest in graphic design into a business. ive been doing graphic design for frats here and there, but mostly working for a record label called 163 entertainment. its a decent source of income, and this coming year, i plan to really get it out there, have staff, etc and take over the market at pitt, theres a ton of money to be made...
here are 2 examples:

I'd just like to say I think it's terrific that people from your country are able
to go to Cananda and succeed in one of their many government programs.

Making it into the Air Force. Finally having a chance to help people and do something important. Less than 25% of people who apply get into the Air Force, but I think if I could do most people who half way cared could. Still, I am very proud to have a chance to give back to all those who have served before me.

98 % sure, my acceptance to York/Seneca joint Program at the York university campus. 2nd best program in ontario next to sheridans. (Sheridans had 2155 people apply for 60 spots : ( . Once you graduate and get a placement the money can be great. my fingers are crossed. Going to the Oreintation for the program on the 9th.

probably being in the top 2% of my class of 680 people. I was also accepted to Hofstra University, but that really isn't a huge accomplishment. If I get my final letter off acceptance to PSU for Music Education then that would definately be my biggest achievement

As for me, I really dunno. Graduating HS, and getting into college is an achievement i guess. After college I would like to serve in either navy or marines, so i suppose that would be a retty big achievement.

Hmmm, quitting drinking/smoking was a big one for me, and finding a girl that I can relate to, and is just as oOo: as I am. Oh and high school, but I guess everyone and their mothers have graduated high school or at least gotten a GED.

Hofstra has the highest percentage of STD's than any other school. If your top 2% of your class you can probably do better than Hofstra though.

I'm smart when it comes to books and I love music. Most 'good' colleges have alright music programs. Like the University of Maryland...I visited there and saw that the Music program is pretty shitty. But it's a great school for sciences and business. Hofstra is a bit expensive for me as well; scholarships..yeah yeah. But still, if I go to the state school i can save tons of money.

Like HeadUp said, good luck with everyone on the college hunt and good luck to those in college.

I graduated from the business school at UMCP in '96. The good thing about MD is you're only a couple of metro stops or 10 minutes drive from DC. That means internships out the ass and the Kennedy Center and the artsy stuff if you're into that.

Coleman 03-06-2005 08:38 AM

Penn State University and Temple. I know Temple is in such a shitty area, but they have a great music program.
