Internet Problem
 

It seems I am unable to look at my email messages or delete any and so on.

In the status bar it says like javascript('whatever..something like that.

Also I can't click on an emoticon on the side and have it come on this message box automatically.

Anyone know how to make all of this work again?

Just reinstall it if its shitting out.

I may sound stupid...but how exactly do you install IE...like i always get it with my computer etc preisntalled with windows my guess.

Basically I can't click on anything that says javascript in the status bar when i click on a link...hotmail seems to use this...as do some forums for the reply buttons.

Ha, I had something like that with IE. That was the problem that made us switch over to Mozilla, beyond getting the Sasser worm from it, too.
Check your ACtiveX controls. Just check 'em. Im trying to sound smart and knowledgable, but one thing I want you to do for me before I die is CHECK THEM.

This problem usually arises after visiting websites containing this type of material:

go to control panel and click add/remove programs, then click on add/remove windows components. then find what ever you want to install

That doesnt remove bad IE but running the latest one from the site should fix any corrupted parts.just clear your cache files and like gerv pointed out go and reinstall java cos thats whats fucked up.
