Over priced, but a good system even though it isn't an A64.

Sergeant_Scrotum 03-23-2005 06:13 PM

You can buy any computer and buy 30$ worth of ultra quiet fans and you have a quiet computer.

He's saying it will cost you half the price. That's more than $1150. You still worried about $500 off? oOo:

no

Unknown_Sniper 03-23-2005 06:41 PM

simple math 2,300 - 500 = 1,800
now you can build one for 1,100
1,800 - 1,100 = 700. Wow. if you build your own than it is still $700 cheaper than buying one from dell with $500 off. IMO dont buy a dell for that much. Build one with all those specs for a lot less.

butch 03-23-2005 08:27 PM

Take a look at this place. They have some different kinds of cases and you can have them build whatever you want.

If you dont want to build your own pc - go to your local pc repair shop - they will usually give you a nice offer + its already built. Another good thing about it is - if something goes wrong (i.e. your mobo blows) just drive to the shop for repairs and its usually done in a couple of days (or even hours). unlike dell where u have to send it back to the warehouse (which could take weeks) + pay £1 a min on phonecalls for them to come to pick it up.
