Poor spider

This was the offending species of spider to have cause the unfortunate distraction....it was given a proper burial this afternoon back in its home country of Iraq. R.I.P Samantha the spider....

ya it rolled. My guess he lost control after giving away his attention, went down a ditch at a moderate speed(somwhere around 30) and rolled it. ID like to hear more. either way he was stupid enough to loose his attention on a spider and that cost him a lot more than a paintful bite.

right. he hit a turn sign and destroyed a real estate sign also. he hit some sort of hill and rolled. he's lucky he didnt get hurt. but the worst part, is that less then a month earlier, he rebuilt the transmission, which was also destoryed.

I believe this particular creature was discussed a year or two back and it was concluded that it is not technically a spider, but some other funny name, they are big and scary, but are no threat to humans IIRC.

Aren't they camel spiders?

They can supposedly can run super fast and jump. I've heard stories of soldiers trying to shoot at them with no luck at all. They also apparently can finish off a camel quite fast for their size.

....Folklore or not, that pic is disgusting and I wanna throw up on ben afflecks crotch pump everytime I see it. Ewwwwww spiders.

I just googled it... they can run 10mph, dunno about jumping, but they cant eat a camel, they arent even venomous, they are just named that because they live in the desert

thanks for that optical illusion link. you can tell by the dudes sleeve in the foreground that they are alot smaller than that pic leads on. i also compared the spiders size to that soldiers leg in teh backround instead of the sleeve. gg trick photo.

I actually find it kind of peaceful. I dont think you guys have seen real hick houses.. Im not talking about the stereotype of silver RV homes..well, just imagine a white ghetto. Or, try the far outskirts of Denver, right off of Colfax Avenue and Tower Road.
