Headphones
 

I just lost the felt covering on one of the earbuds that my zen micro came with. They had quality to them, but my biggest complaint was that they fell out sometimes if you didn't put them in the perfect way.

I'm going to Denmark May 5th and I want to have a good pair of headphones that I can take with me. I really want good quality with a compact size...something i can fit into my pocket easily. Right now, I have no idea about any of the headphones out on the market so cost doesn't really matter at the moment. I'll weed through the ones that fit my budget..


Anyone have any good suggestions?

wow, I was looking around on google and found these http://www.shure.com/earphones/eseries_e3c.asp. Those are the ones my dad has...I never would have thought they were that expensive. They are very very nice, but not worth that much money.

Senn makes great cans, I dont know about buds, what I do know is Shure is at the top of the bud world for the most part. A few other companies make good ones too, but Shure's are my favorites. I have their e3c's and love them, very balanced little guys. Very tight and accurate bass, laid back highs, all around a great set.

oOo:[/quote:a1ab9]rich..ha, I'd wish I could say that. I said that I lost the felt covering on it and because of that, it is even harder for it to stay in the ear. It just falls out since there is no friction to keep it held in place.

If you don't have anything helpful to say, then I suggest you stay out of the thread.

ear buds are fucking disgusting. one of my teammates was trying to get me to listen to a song on his cd player and his ear buds were covered in the nastiest fucking ear wax i've ever seen.

happy: I don't intend on sharing these with the world. I want a pair for their compact qualities. I bought a small player so I could fit it in my pocket so I should have a small set of headphones to go along.

edit: your friend is disgusting, not the buds themselves.

uhhh not much choice in it, you cant really bring an amp and speakers around with you. But at home, it is MUCH easier to achieve perfect sound with $1000 cans and an amp then with $1000 of amps, speakers, etc...

:S sony earbuds have always done the trick for my old walkman.

same shit happened to me with 2 pairs of the buds... i also have a pair of sony ones that lost the covers ... im really starting to hate them ...

sennheiser = expensive.... I got to try out the new b0ss 5.1 headphones on, very nice little puppies.

i have a friend that has the little headphones that hang off your ears with the little soft hook thingys... they're pretty comfortable and compact. I think he said they had them at walmart

Roflmao, what a coincidence, I logged on to post a topic EXACTLY like this, as I tear through a new pair of headphones nearly every month (Gone through 7 so far) and was wondering what you guys owned...

Im stuck wearing a pair of Sony MDsomethings, big black cups with the band snapped in half, taped up, and piercing into my head wyhenever I wear them for more than an hour. If Im not wearing those, I'm wearing some Sony ear-buds, which happens to only have one speaker working.

I saw a pair of Sennheiser HD202's..look real good. I hate ear buds, they're always falling out.

Well it depends, there are the ones that just on the outsid eof your ear (like the ipod ones) Or their are ones that suction in you ear canal. A good pair of suctioning ones (such as shures) will not fall out if you wear them properly, they are usually supposed be wrapped around the ear, they dont come out. If you want any sort of bass response, you will want the suctioning type aswell.

yeah those ones looks pretty ok ... the ones i have are starting to make my ears hurt ... i like how those look like they just fit right into your earhole.

i think my friend has them. I'll ask him to test them out. Yeah, you're right about how they look pretty comfy.

yeah, it doesn't matter what brand of mp3 player you get (iriver, DELL, ipod, creative, etc.)...the stock headphones usually suck ass.
