Skaterboarders

Hey, if anyone of you guys skateboard can you give me a clue on a good choice from both of these and which to go with.

A flip board or a girl board. So far I was leaning toward the flip boards.

Himmler 05-03-2005 09:40 PM

who gives a fuck buy whatever you like better.

if it was advice on something that mattered then i would care. you see here, i used to skate for like 4 years. i have leared that buying a board of your choice is TOTALLY up to you and what you like. Most boards are exactly the same and come fromt he same place, just have a diff logo slapped onto them. unless they say they are made with something different then another one, and if it is 9 ply instead of 7ply, that is pretty much the only noticable difference, besides the size and the concave. unless your jamie thomas, it doesnt matter what you buy. buy whatever graphic you like the most.

strvs 05-03-2005 11:12 PM

back when i skated i always rode blanks, couldnt afford $75 every time i snapped a deck, theyre basically the same thing.

Skateboarding was lame in the early 90s and it hasn't gotten any less lame in the new millenium.

Try something that won't make you a punkass, leech on society. Something like school.

I will now brace for flame impact.

If people are actually good and respect property then thats cool, but its those damn kids that really suck and want you to see them in the most public places that piss me off. I always volunteer to kick them off the property where I work. Overall skateboarding is pretty lame though, I agree.

Drew 05-03-2005 11:35 PM

I obviously don't stereotype against all kids, but on the property where I work 3 out of every 5 cases of vandalism involved kids with skateboards.

Art Attack 05-04-2005 06:02 AM

girl boards are ok... but seriously just goto your local shop and buy a blank, no use in spending 80$ on a deck your gonna snap, when you can spend 50 on a blank.

anyways thanks guys.

Proteus 05-04-2005 05:40 PM

It's all preference dude. When I skated before I loved elements.

Bean 2 05-04-2005 05:42 PM

My second was an element. still in good condition but i dont skate to much anymore.

Art Attack 05-04-2005 08:21 PM

Honestly, just find a deck that you like, boards are different, gotta find the brand you like.

Pretty lame Drew. I wouldn't have expected this from someone such as yourself. You're just as bad as those "punk skateboard kids" out there. sleeping:

heres me ole ATM beauty, lasted me a good ole 5 years and still going. nice heavy solid wood, no signs of breaking any time soon. needs alot more work to ollie with this then some of my friends decks, but this is practically unbreakable.

go to the store, put decks that look the right size and shop on the floor and stand on them, buy the one that feels best...
