Blurs are awesome, but they take some practice. I was lucky enought to get the blur Guru to show me. (WR)
Here are some tips: As you can see, I used some blurs in this one. Here is how I did it: First get your image how you want it, then duplicate the layer. This gives you a fallback (if needed) or a bottom copy. Take and use your blur on the top layer. Then lower the Opac or erase as needed. That keeps even a heavy blur from being overdone. On this one...and several others, I put the blured layer behind the sharp layer, and just lowered the opac of the crisp layer. To use the effect on text, duplicate the layer, then right click your new text layer, choose Rasterize, then blur it. Same concept, use the opacity to make it look right. Another good method to managing your blur effects is to brush the effect in, instead of using the filter tab. Thats this tool, right clicking it will give you the options for Blur, Sharpen, or smudge. |
The quality of hte picture was good, i added blurs to it and darkened it.
Then if it isnt good could u tell me where to find good picture besides google i already know that. |

I have always had some luck with source pics when I don't use a conventional idea..
Like, I made lots of sigs with Buildings, Nature, or bugs. The quality of the pic matters more than the actually content, I think. |
Alright, ill try and make another one when i get back from my girlfriends house.
