I think most crimes are against people that know each other. Especially shootings, kidnappings etc.

Did you know 4% of the population are sociopaths, meaning these 4% have no capacity for empathy or to love or feelings for anyone, including their own kids. This doesn't mean sociopaths are all violent. only a fraction of sociopaths are violent.
