Usenet back in the day was command line messages left in standard newsgroup format. The earliest I used the internet was in the late 80's, trying to hack my elementary school's library PC. I was probably only like 8 or 9 years old on a Tandy 3 color machine. I didn't know how to program dictionary files so I couldn't crack the password, but it was my first foray.

Funny how no one remembers the internet before WWW, although most of you are too young.
