iPod problem
 

I have a problem with my iPod. I installed all the software that came with the iPod, but when I plug it in to a USB port (2.0) on my machine, it gives me "Do Not Disconnect" with a little rotating gear in the top left of the screen. What's that problem?

There is no problem. Do not disconnect, and wait 'till its done updating (I have a Shuffle)

iTunes is not detecting the iPod.

Is this a brand spanking new one? Did you format it with the iPod updater software?

I have an ipod shuffle and have yet to have a problem on it. Fuck buying some 2536124gig one, waste of money. As for your problem i would imagine that you need to install your software or maybe mess with your USB drives.

whatever, yes it is a good buy. but how big is the speaker and how much? cause bose puts out some good shit, but is very pricey.

buy the ipod. but buy some decent speaker system that has nothng todo with ipod, that you can jack the ipod upto for some decent sounds. You would probaly save alot.

It most likely is a problem with the USB ports, cuz I can upload music to the iPod on my dad's PC.

I just got this little trinket that hooks my Zen micro up to my alpine head unit. 100 dollars for that POS thing that hooks the ipod up to the head unit?!?! forget about it!

my friends use their mp3 players with a radio transmitter when they drive around. They work pretty well actually.

But my '92 Subaru Legacy has an AUX IN jack right under the radio dial which makes it super easy to hook up my mp3 player and car stereo rock:

I'm so glad I replaced my philips with a shuffle and didn't fork out extra for 20 gig....

My mom and my sister both have iPods. Both have more software problems than the rest of the technological universe combined. All my friends piss and whine about how shitty their iPods are.

my friend also has one of these - they are a very nice investment if you dont have a aux in jack at the front of the stereo. Even the cheaper ones seem to be good.
