Just got home from doing the SAT, and it was fuckin easy. Even the essay part was a breeze. ANybody else here pleased, displeased, or doesnt gibve a fuck about the SAT?

Well, isn't the average 1000 ? Maybe the scoring system changed then...

The score is up from 1600 to 2400, they added an essay segment for 800 points

Everyone says the new SAT is easier than the old one.

i took them yesterday for the second time, eh...it was a bit easier than last time. math is SO easy for me, but english...i havent had a teacher who taught vocab since freshman year, so it was a bit difficult for me.

the essay section isnt all of the 800 points they added, they divide it up some weird way.

It IS easier! They removed about the only hard parts (IQ-wise): no longer will anyone be tested on analogies or quantitative comparisons / pattern recognition. Now it's entirely scholastic in the sense that you must master the english and mathematical skills required by the test and nothing more. If anyone gets under 1500, they suck at life.

yea analogies are gone, but for a ghood reason: You could get them wrong for thinking TOO MUCH.

I just did a german exam as well, it was easy as fuckward too.

I always find english easier than math, but I read and write a lot.

If you have a big vocab, it should be. Of course, elementary math is just operations and an understanding of basic concepts and manipulation of, so there isn't any excuse... well, except stupidity and laziness. ;)
