yeah I remember there being something about it when they were in production of it, then it just stopped. Next thing ya know I'm flippin' through the paper on a sunday and there's an add for it on dvd for sale at Wal-Mart. Apparently it came out like a year ago and won all these art movie awards for good acting and shit...I'll have to go check it out.

Looked good when I heard about it last year, I'm going to go see if I can pick it up at Target later.

No, it's just a little ww2 movie, pretty good I thought.

I'll be seeing it, I saw a copy of it at Target tod3h, seems to have won a whole bunch of awards..

...for now Im stuck with library rentals, which is mainly foreign movies (Which are pretty good occasionally - anyone ever seen "Goodbye Lenin!"?)

one of the best foreign films i have ever seen was a German one, about some hippy like Germans setting up a bomb, and it doesn't blow till like... 20 years later, and its just overall.. goodness. forgot the name of it though.. loney:

Saints & Soldiers sucked.....and I can watch some pretty shitty war films, just because I have a strong interest in the war, and conflicts in general.

Really, the acting is fucking wooden, and the action is bollocks. I especially thought the scene where they're escaping all those germans was a pile of shit....I can't remember what it was, but one part of it I remember watching was a total rip-off of a scene in A Midnight Clear (far better Battle Of The Bulge war flick)....

I'm gonna rent it this weekend and that korean WWII movie too...Tae Guk Bukkakke or some shit...I always forget the name.

I didn't find it any more religious than most episodes of Combat.

It is not an action film.
It is not a big buget film.

It's just a little morality play, like most episodes of Combat.

It's a movie on the Korean War. It's awesome.

goodbye lenin is pretty good.
