Using the bf recorder, reocrding a demo file then playing it back in freecam mode. biggrin:

I had an awsome chance too take some awsome screenshots but i couldnt take my eye's off the screen. I was in the base on the far left hand side (the one with the boat) and the enemy jet came flying over and droped a bomb and it was like slow motion as i watched the bombs come down and hit our base, the dirt and people went flying into the air and i sat there for a minute and i was like "that was soooo cool". i didnt want to take my eyes off the screen it looked so cool.

Also, what is the command for the BF demo recorder? and how do you play it back again in free spec mode?

and is there a command to turn off the HUD?

The commands for the bf recoreder are in the console, type in demo. then hit tab and it should show the options, think the command is demo.recorddemo 1 (2/3/4 etc) each number is a different file so you don't overwrite your originals.

When you're done recording use the demo stop command and then navigate to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\mods\bf2\Demos

grab the files form that and dump them in here.

C:\Documents and Settings\geRV\My Documents\Battlefield 2 Demo\Profiles\Default\demos


open the game up, click community and you should see the files, just load it up. The controls for the demo are q and t to bring up different options. To actually record a demo you have to either play against bots, or use the bf recorder filter in the search settings to find a server that has it enabled, you then dload the file from the server (somehow) when you finish recording.

Not sure how to disable hud, the demo recorder you can have free spec like i have but the names still seem to appear. spank:

What did I do? Absolutely nothing.

Just being a member of this forum got me banned. Some chuckleheads from here decided it would be funny to spam TMT. I tried to make peace by banning the troublemakers and extending the olive branch to TMT...got banned for it.

The General here has said that my IP isn't on their ban list, but damned if I can view their forums...*shrug*.

Yea I have no idea whats up with Zoners ip and our forums. I can only take care of the forum end. If Trent has other bans mainly due to people coming in with ads spamming the forum I cant see those banned ips.

Zoner you will just have to trust me that your not banned for anything at all. I just have no idea whats going on with your ip. :(
