Back in the day when I used to be heavily into online gaming, 12 hours is pretty weak...

Yea, I've played well over 12 hours straight on multiple occasions, this kid was just a wussie.

GAHH!!! I used to be addicted to that. Something like 25 hours once, but with rest in between. I deleted the game cause it was too addicitive.

Did you guys read it? He was playing for sometimes over 12 hours every day.

I don't understand how anyone can play a game even remotly that long. Most I usually do is like 4 when i get really into it.

Hell ive played WW2OL for 15 hours straight and i was fine the next day, even ran a 6:30 mile that day too. rock:
Theres really nothing wrong with letting go and playing a game all day, its just the anti-social dweebs who do it every single day that need an ass kicking. I have a girlfriend, an apartment and alot of good friends so playing a video game for 10+ hours is fine now and then!!

Did I fail to mention I played almost 18hours on average per day for one whole week. I'm not touching that game anymore, even civ4. annoy:

AHHAAH Hell yea man...I get burned out on games quick...unless they really interest me like some have. Gotta have GREAT replay value for me...or KICK ASS Multiplayer...or else I wont even think twice about spending longer then 2 hrs on it.

My condolences to the family...how he died isn't something to laugh at...the fact remains...the kid has died...and thats a very very hard thing to go through.

The damn kid had a stroke, it has nothing to do with the fact that he played games. READ THE THING. They "think" he didnt stop playing games even though he was sick. Yet everyone said he was fine, and probably had more energy than me on an average day. Nothing computer related wil give you a damn stroke... Except being spawn raped in the BF series...

I think the longest i've gona has been like 14, 15 some odd hours.

And oh yeah Civ 4 looks like shit. The screen shots are god aweful, civ 3 looks sooooooo much nicer.

x2, i take breaks every 3 hrs and get somethin to eat/drink

than i browse forums and chill for music for 20 min than i get back to the game :)
