Reoccuring dreams
I'm sure you've all experienced a reoccuring dream one time or another in your life. With me, I hardly ever remember any of my dreams...I just sleep and then wake up on a normal night. But there have been dreams that I've had multiple times.
I am probably not the only one to say that as I slept, I felt a falling sensation as if I was falling from a waterfall or something. But my biggest dream sensation is about water. I'll be swimming (not clear where, might be a pool or a lake. I don't know) and i'll be towards the floor of this body of water. I'll run out of air, but then for some reason i could take in a small breath of air through my nostrals as I am in the water. |
I had the same exact dream a few years back, except I was near the floor of the pool, looked up, and breathed in deeply, then I woke up...
|
There are books and stuff on the meanings/translations of dreams. I'd like to read one in my spare time. It seems interesting.
|
I've had dreams like that before, most of them are pretty awesome. The ones that feel like your in freefall or your weightless are the best.

Start a dream blog.

I have a dream where Jason Voorhees is stalking a group of my friends in a gas station. Go figure, huh.
|
I've honestly have never had a reoccuring dream. I maybe have a dream once every couple months.
|
i once had a dream so weird!
i was walking around with some friends and i just fell and i woke up |
I had a dream that I missed the tailgate party that I'm going to have on Friday for the home opener of the Calgary Stampeders vs Toronto Argonauts CFL football game and I was extremly pissed off. I woke up angry also until I realized it was a dream. I don't really know if i've had a reoccuring dream. A lot of dreams i don't remember.
|
All of my dreams are weird, like I had one a few months ago where Satan was roaming around NYC and there were dead people all over the place and I had to kill Satan to save myself.
And another one where I lost my car and these Mexican gangsters were trying to kill me. rock: |
i never have reoccuring dreams but once in awhile ill have a short glimpse into the future. in between dreams ill have a short 2-5 second clip in which im in my own shoes doing something ive never done, and before im able to get a grasp of whats going on it stops. after that, some time will pass, and ill find myself in the same 2-5 second clip except this time its real. its weird because it can happen a few weeks after the dream, few months, and even a few years. its like deja-vu but i dreamt of what im doing before it actually happens oOo:

I've been out of college for 10 years now and I still occasionally have a dream that I have a big test to take that I am totally unprepared for.
The nice part is I'm usually awakened by the need to take a piss and realize than I'm all done with books and shit. The only thing I really have to worry about is the company monitoring my internetz time. happy: |

I fought an army of geese and they overran me and stole my pride.

I have fucked up dreams. Especially the one i had last night, i vaguely remember it but it was something about getting in shit at school, and being sent to a giant building that was floating in the sky..... And this old bitch was there saying she was going to kill me eventually. Yea. oOo:
I've only had one recurring dream i can remember, i was really young and just watched the movie 'Congo' about the killer gorillas, and for about a month afterwards i had a dream every night about a giant gorilla chasing me and then smashing my face with his fist. I was scared to go to sleep. stupid: |

I have never had a reccuring dreams. But a while back, I was reading about about the battle of jutland before i went to bed. So in my dream I was standing on the bridge,of a bb, ships all over the place firing, planes flying back and forth, I yelled fire, and my bb took a smaller ship, destroyer, i guess. Then several airplanes flew over to us, I yelled "shoot those bastards down." Next thing I knew i was woken up cuz my dog was barking. I was so pissed off i didnt get to see the end. annoy: I find that a lot of times I dream about things i think about, or read about, or even watch right before i go to bed. oOo:

When i was little Ursela from the little mermaid kept sticking me in a pen. Since the dream took place underwater, i just kept swimming under and got out. Then she'd catch me and put me back in. This went on until I'd wake up.
Also, I'd be hiding in a tree spying on a campy looking sci fi flying saucer. The door would open and a line of zombies would file out in single file. The the space ship would take off and i'd wake up. |

i have the same dream once in a great while, its me in a pickup truck...passanger side, and i suddenly get shot in the head. I see all that while standing behind the truck.
I dunno kinda weird. anyone have moments of absolute clarity after waking from a dream? those are the best |
I love the dreams that have you think about them for the rest of the day.
|
It sucks when you get something in the dream, like you find 20 bucks or something, then you wake up and realise you didnt find 20 bucks. annoy:
|
Whats bad is when you go to sleep after something bad happens to you then you wake up and think it was a dream. Then you realize it really did happen.

Lately, I've had certain power of my reoccuring dreams. Several months ago, I had a dream where there was a ghost in my house. But it wasn't just any ghost, it would take the forms of people that I know and try to trick me.
In the beginning, the ghost was harmless. He would take the forms of family members from what they looked like in the early 1990's. The ghost even took the form of myself at around 5-6 years old, and I had oodles of fun playing videogames with him (no joke). However, in the dream, only I could see what it looked like. The second dream I had, however, was more nightmarish. The ghost had become angry because I hadn't been nice to it. Now, it would take the forms of family members from what they looked like exactly. So I would be thinking I was talking to my brother, but when I'm really talking to the ghost. Then, when me and my bro were walking, we saw the ghost walking around (in my form) throwing shit all over the house and closing the doors everywhere and slamming windows shut. I was freaked out. Then the ghost took the form of my sis, and then starting chasing us with a knife. However, the ghost had also closed all the doors in the house, thus it was impossible to escape. I then wake up once I lock myself in my room. The third dream I had occured the very next night. I could tell because in the dream, I woke up in my room and I heard screams and doors slamming all aroudn the house. Then, I heard the garage door come crashing down and collapsing. Realizing the dream could only get worse, I decided to say to myself in the dream "WTF is this? There are no such things as ghosts, wake yourself up! This is ridiculous." It actually worked, and I haven't had the dream since. It's freaky to think, though, that you could actually have conversations with yourself from earlier years through dreams. |
