any of you ever had this? just wondering what the effects of it are, not sure but dont think its legal in the united states, and is it even worth buying

A friend had a $75 bottle.. waste of money... only the REALLY expensive stuff will get you even slightly tripping. This stuff just got you drunk, nothing special.

a friend of mine gets his imported from finland through ontarios liquor store - the lcbo (liquor control board of ontario). the good absinthe contains higher levels of thujone. thujone is what gives it it's pyschoactive properties. ive only done a shot and i was already pretty wasted at the time, but there were moments when i could get a good feel for it. if i had a job i would buy some, so i say buy it (if you can).

never had it but the really good shit is about 75% adn has a large ammount of the special herb they use to make u halucinate. you gotta goto germany or something to get it

I've had it on more than one occasion, it's pretty fucking strong. I guess that goes without saying lol. Tasted like fucked up medicine to me. I got really fucking drunk.

Ive got it. this shit is pungent, with no real "special" effects, other than severly reducd braincell count. And tastes like shit.

like i said in my post, it's thujone that gives it its pyschoactive qualities and you can import absinthe containing high levels of it from european countries.

if done properly with a sugarcube it taste like candy.
