So the fuck what? Just because he's famous and fights cancer he deserves attention? There's millions of people fighting cancer, and I don't see anyone kissing their collective asses. Sorry if I'm not in awe. annoy:

EDIT: Applauding him because he won the Tour De France 7 times in a row is one thing, applauding him as a cancer survivor is another. He brought it upon himself.

there were a few countries that accused him of taking 'roids. So a few tours back they had to do a drug test on him after each trial. He was clean at every test.

TonyMontana 07-24-2005 03:02 PM

Whatada how about providing us with some facts/sources before you go accusing him of this.

Probably not for us. But in France and Europe I bet lots of them are well known.
Now that Lance is gone. It will go back to a European winner.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 07-24-2005 03:54 PM

I've noticed you lack even elementary conceptual skills...

Pyro 07-24-2005 04:28 PM

I wish I had that kind of endurance...come to think of it I wish I had the endurance I had for msot of my life until like highschool kicked in and I quit playing sports due to working and no time.

STFU it wasnt just that he won 7 tour de fances or that hes a cancer survivor, its that he used cycling to get back into shape after chemo, started running the tour de france and has since won it 7 consecutive times. My grandmother lost her battle with cancer in a horrible way and for someone to win the battle that he faught then go and kick ass as a cyclist deserves all the attention

BTW thats a -1 for you dude

c312 07-24-2005 05:15 PM

he's an icon for cancer patients and cyclists everywhere

they surprise tested him before this tour and he passed...
