The President

I got to meet the President and the First Lady today. I even got an autographed baseball from him.

I also got to meet and shake hands with Ozzie Smith, Andy Pettite, and Paul Molitor.

Da_Bian 07-24-2005 05:45 PM

You should've asked him about your underaged drinking bust and possible record.

TonyMontana 07-24-2005 05:45 PM

Andy Pettite was a lot taller than I thought he was. And Ozzie Smith was awesome so that was cool.

and even if you don't like Bush, still, he's the leader of the free world and it was cool

Be a conservative christian with an ex president as your father and I dont think it would be to hard. I saw in the news today that in a survey, americans are more likely to vote for a gay/black/woman than an athiest.

It's easy when you fix an election.

[quote:2fa1c]It's easy when you fix an election. [/quote:2fa1c]

Even if you think he fixed the first one (the supreme court ruled he won) he won the second won legit.

ninty 07-24-2005 06:04 PM

No, both were fixed.

c312 07-24-2005 06:05 PM

omg, just accept that you lost ffs.

strvs 07-24-2005 06:06 PM

Canada lost an american election? eek:

Quote of the day material that.

c312 07-24-2005 06:08 PM

I'm not gonna get into this, if you don't like him, fine, whatever, I don't even care, he's still the President of the most powerful country in the world.

And contrary to King of the Hill, he has quite a firm handshake.

Hah.

I suppose if I were an american citizen I would have voted democrat, to try to get bush out however, I would rather support nader.

Coleman 07-24-2005 06:15 PM

Fuck you all for being such hard-asses. It's the President of the United States. When our school's band was invited to play in the Inagural Parade for Bush (2nd time) my band director was thrilled that she got to even be 15ft away from the man. TRUST ME, I think she may hate him more than SH & the UK put together lol. If I was to meet Al Gore or Bill Clinton, I'd be pretty thrilled...not because I love their personalities, but because of their importance in history.

Have some respect for the position. If you don't, then fine. You don't have to ruin the kid's thread for it. rolleyes: I am not the person to get all "little kid like" when something like this happens, but to those of you who took a dump on this thread, I salute you with the middle finger.

c312, that's neat that you got to see him. He seems like a very down to Earth kinda guy. How long were you in front of him? What'd he say? beer:

mr.miyagi 07-24-2005 06:18 PM

I would've jumped up on his shoulders, gripped my heels on his neck and do a backwards twisting somersault snapping his neck off so when I landed I could shit down his throat

c312 07-24-2005 06:34 PM

well it was for voluntary service with kids with disabilites so he told me and my brother that we were doing a great service and then asked how old we were and what we are doing next year.

Gerv, he looks like a monkey, I agree, can you stop with the facial appearance jokes though?

and as for the Canadian losing : I'm guessing you wanted him to lose, he won, therefore you lost in a sense

and Coleman, I thought more people would be mature enough to understand it like you do but I guess I was wrong.

Johnj 07-24-2005 06:36 PM

No you would have jumped up on his shoulders and been shot dead by the Secret Service agents surounding the deserting, drunken buffoon.

yeah, they had a ton of secret service there, they had a bunch of guys with these: [url:8d4d3]http://www.cubic-works.com/marui/images/P90.jpg[/url:8d4d3]

It was weird also because ozzie smith was just walking down the street in DC and if you didn't see him at the White House, you would probably have never known that he was a Hall of fame baseball player and one of the best defensive infielders that was walking next to you.
