GUTS was one of the best shows on TV. I miss it cry:

Hollywood 07-26-2005 11:48 AM

I still watch it from time to time, it's on the Nick Gas network. I did a little research and it looks like they never actually gave out that rock at the end. It was all bogus.

wow, that was more upsetting than hearing Santa was fake!

I wish I got that GAS network channel. Do they have all of the old school nick shows--Salute your Shorts, Hey Dude, The Elephant Show, etc.?

Rofl, now I remember. I had no clue what it was at first... I just remember them climbing up that mountain thingy while steam and stuff blew out. And somehow I remember them having a race that looked like a sidescrolling game, and they had to find the keys, and avoid the Indian that popped out the door. But then again, I think that was a different show..

GAS has mainly game shows. It stands for Games and Sports, so all the old school shows are on like Double Dare, Finders Keepers, and Wild and Crazy Kids as well as Figure it Out, Legends of the Hidden Temple and GUTS.

AHAHAHAHAAH! YES!!!!! Oh god, I remember him so well! Jeezis! That inspired me to make so many stick-people, like the news reporter. Rofl, you dont really deserve it, but +1 for great memories.

i'm going to order that channel when I get my own place.

Doctor Duffy 07-26-2005 03:48 PM

Figure it Out... that was great the first times I watched it, then it got old. It was always constant jokes about toejam from that fat red haired kid, green slime pouring on them (Something I think Nick's all of a sudden abandoned - they want a "hipper" tone), and the lame things at the end of the shows, like watching a girl stack cups, a girl fit through a clothes-wire, or some kid talking underwater. Want a cookie for that ?

cartoon network used to kick dog, but now they have even more senseless bullshit than before.

Courage the Cowardly Dog > Existance

[DAS REICH] Blitz 07-26-2005 09:02 PM

it's shameful to watch cartoons now and days. Anime has taken over the basically drawn cartoons of old.

[DAS REICH] Blitz 07-26-2005 09:08 PM

Another thing i forgot to say, does anyone else remember the "Super Toy Run" contest on Nick? It was the one where they would get some kid to run around for 2 mins in a big toy store and take all the toys he wanted. If he gets it in 2 mins, he wins everything he got. I remember wishing so much that I would be able to do that (in addition to beating everyone in Legends of the Hidden Temple)...

Sgt. Paine 07-26-2005 09:09 PM

Nick had the bestest shows ever to come to television.

Fuck 24.

Yesss~!!!!! How old were you guy's around this time? I might've been six...

Yeah, Courage the Cowardly Dog is my all-time favorite cartoon show on the Cartoon Network. I remember their Cartoon-Cartoon-Friday's...and of course, the guy in my avatar...those were so dumb they were hilarious.

Who remembers Keanen and Kel? ORANGE SODA!!!

I dont even watch TV anymore...no cable, so Im stuck with Simpsons reruns and the daily news, and a little bit of TV Telemundo to spice things up. I do get MTV2 somehow, though, which is pretty cool.

Who remembers Nicks version of SNL, yet it was on Friday? Anyone remember its name...? Before the crap-encrusted Amanda Bynes show hit..

Coleman 07-26-2005 10:10 PM

All That

Don't forget Alex Mack, she was hot.

Chronic Diarrhea 07-27-2005 10:33 AM

Talking about all these shows brings back good memories. I used to watch GUTS and think to myself, "WTF these kids are faggots I can run faster than all of them."

Does anybody remember My Brother and Me? Pretty shitty show, but I used to have a flat top just like that one kid in the show.

+1 to Coleman for his Legends of the Hidden Temple outfits!
