All brands have problems with some customers. As stated, I find the Asus ones more stable than ie. Abit or MSI.

Asus is good, but the one that you picked out Tystnad, uses shitty VIA chipset rather than nF4 greatness.

You could dump the SLI mobo and grab the cheaper nF4 Ultra version if you don't see yourself ever doing SLI.

Thing is, the best thing to do now is getting an SLI right away, if youre going to upgrade anyway. biggrin:

What exactly do you mean, do you want the monitors picture displayed on the tv or do you want to be able to record shit off the tv onto the pc?

You need a TV tuner.

I highly suggest the Hauppauge PVR-150MCE. It's a bit pricey at $65 but it's the best of the best. The PVR-500MCE is the same card with 2 tuners on it, if you are interested in that.
