i read the first 100 pages, it just didnt pull me in like everyone said it would. but, everyone says the first 100 pages are boring and it gets better after that, but meh...just didnt feel like it.

Tripper 08-09-2005 10:00 PM

I hear only good things about that book.

Scalping Chief 08-09-2005 10:06 PM

Is it not a TV show?

Jin-Roh 08-09-2005 10:08 PM

I did not read it, and I never will. I will listen to it though. Most likely watch it, too.

KTOG 08-09-2005 10:16 PM

Not to huge on popular literature. Some of the best novels are the least known.

I've read a few really unknown books and loved them. They are so unknown that I even forgot the names of them. cry:

He might mean beyond the davinchi code. It was on the history channel saying how it wasnt true or some thing like that.

Machette 08-10-2005 12:39 AM

Shitty literature...the only reason people like it is because of the tag-line story (the holy grail) which is b.s anyways..

Pyro 08-10-2005 12:30 PM

I really enjoyed the book...If you're very religious you would probably hate it because it attacks the bible and christianity during the course of the book.

evenflow 08-10-2005 12:32 PM

hopefully harrison ford does the book good.

true, the author states that it is fiction, but he says many of the facts are real and many people have started to accept it as a history book which it is not. IF you are reading it as fiction, you are reading it the right way.

Nyck 08-10-2005 05:39 PM

If I ever start reading it...I could have gone to Borders and got that shit for 17 bucks but decided to save some dough and buy it new from a seller on amazon.com for 12 bucks

Est delivery date 8/17-8/31....WHAT IN THE MOTHER FUCK ITS THE 10TH NOW YOU CUNT, SEND IT YOU LAZY QUEEF~! mad: mad: spank:

tomxtr 08-10-2005 07:53 PM

I read it and really enjoyed it. I'm catholic and had no problem with the book. It simply offers alternative opinions about religious symbolism and art. If you haven't started, read Angels and Demons first. Its Dan Brown's first book and in my opinion better than DaVinci Code. The DaVinci Code also references some of the things in Angels and Demons even though it is not technically a prequel. His two other books aren't bad either (Deception Point and Digital Fortress) if you have the time.

i read this book and his other book called 'angels and demons.' same character, but differant story. both are really interesting books but the author has a habit of getting sleepy and letting someone else finish the ending because the endings in both books sucked imo.
