ok I have a 2000 plymouth neon and I just funked up my body kit racing my friends rx8... it twas a close race but with his bad driving I beat the fuck outa him.. he should of smoked my ass hahaha... anyway now I want to get a new body kit

but it says 2000 dodge neon... now would that fit my plymouth neon...?

Dear god..... No NO & NO. 1st. Sell the neon and if you still want a neon buy a neon sport or expresso, Which boasts the good ole SOHC 2.0 engine sporting 150hp. Next = do prep work for the car, performance parts. small exterior mods which are not cheap or ricy, aka clear corners, shave a few badges, tint, nice set of rims, Short Ram air intake, new pulleys, headers, synthetic oil, synthetic fluids, cat back exaust system, lowering springs (NOT CUT SPRINGS), then once you are sporting a car with a nice basic setup and a good 160hp throw on a "conservative kit", none of this BLITS KIT or DRIFTER KIT bullshit. Most body kits ruin the cars lines, so why throw one on....I also doubth VERY MUCH that you beat a RX8 in a fucking neon....

Ok first off, the kit will sadly work. Next id like to know you managed to wreck your entire body kit racing in a straight line? BTW the kit you’re looking at makes it look like the car got punched in the face and has a swollen lip. I put a picture of it bellow for those of you who were to lazy to look it up. Godsmack you must now delete that website from your bookmarks and add http://www.modernperformance.com/ there you can get good, quality performance additions for you’re neon. I personally find my mom’s neon fast enough as it is but if I were to do anything: cold air intake, under drive pulley, MP computer, exhaust upgrade and brake upgrades. For all that you’re looking at around $1000 (im just guessing here). Notice how I said nothing that would affect the look of the car. If you still want to do the body kit at least go with something that looks semi stock and doesn’t scream rice like the one you want.

and I like used cars... there so easy to get u can talk any guy down in price.. I dont wanna blow 32k on a rx8... cuz I go through cars like crazy... the neon looks good its going in for a new paint job on friday... I dont care what u guys think of neons I know there shit I knew that when I was looking at the car but when he let me test drve it I started to like it... I probally just gonna fix it up n sell it like I did with my jeep(s)

Sadly this is true. I have a body kit and i notice no increase in speed. Although my acceleration is much better now.

I just got a new whip too. Anyone know where I can get a wing, maybe a sweet hood with intake?

Simo, cut him some slack, there is nothing wrong with a few conservative exterior mods like clear corners, rims...... Ya sticker gallore & lambo doors are a bit much but that is personal taste.

myself I plan on adding a conservative kit to my car in good time, but befroe that I have a large performance list upgrades that need to be done, clutch, bolt ons, NX or Zex Nitrous kit...RSM or a jtuners.com supercharger/turbo...... major suspension mods.... etc etc.

Eh, its his car, do what you like. As long as you like it. Clear corners have to be tastefully done, not some cheap shitty ones. I got stealth bulbs in mine, which are silver, the same chrome look as the housing, you cant even tell theres a bulb in there until i turn my parking lights on, or my turn signal, than it blinks orange. Fucking beautiful.

PS- alot of people talk down about Zex. Personally ive used both Zex and Nitrous express and am very happy with my NX kit
