[quote:51aa4]Could recent security problems and lack of stability, reported by some users, lead to the decline of the browser that just passed 80 million downloads? [/quote:51aa4]

KTOG 08-15-2005 04:53 PM

1 month of instability compared to 10 years gg

Hawke 08-15-2005 05:06 PM

Bleuachdu 08-15-2005 05:06 PM

Simo Häyhä 08-15-2005 05:20 PM

i personally dont use firefox. But if it gives MS a run for their money then im cool with it

Akuma 08-15-2005 05:20 PM

omfg!!! .64%!!!!

Judas 08-15-2005 05:26 PM

... i didnt really post it because of the decline in users ... its funny seeing people claim its the 'safer browser alternative' to ie (that the only reason i see anyone giving for using the p.o.s), and those same people (its users) prove that it isnt.

the same shit happened with netscape several years back, and then opera. who the fuk uses either of those shits now ?

I enjoy Opera & Firefox, both great browsers. I use IE mainly for my hotmail account...

Poseidon 08-15-2005 05:37 PM

I use firefox, but only use ie for my windows update

Opera > Firefox > ie

I haven't had any problems with my browser since I got Opera about a year ago. I can't even remember the last time I got a pop-up window. I fucking love this browser, it's got so many little things that come in handy too...Far more "right-click" options than IE ever had....

Judas 08-15-2005 08:10 PM

ive tried both ... opera does seem a bit better than firefox imo. i use to only use netscape until they faded out. i liked it quite a bit. if firefox looked 1/2 as good as opera and there werent so many gayities, id probably like using it. the thing just looks like an app for win95 and imo it operates lke one as well.
