I need help hosting a server
 

Hey guys like 3 months ago i could go to my mohaa directory and go to spearhead server setup and click run server and it will work for me, and my friends to go on..... but i reformated my comp and now it says timed out each time for me and my friends and its not in my lan games..... can someone please help o and i turned my firewall off...

You must have had a bat file to setup your server that you lost in the format. Bummer.

Sure you can, you just have to do it the hard way.

Start game...click on multi-player door...click on start game board...select your game type...set your options and click start game.

If your not having a problem then what do you need help with?

Are you friends trying to connect to your game with the internet listing or by IP address?

they use my ip address... Also how do i setup rcon for my hosted server??

Unless you know for sure I wouldn't rule it out. I remember you could join Spearhead servers while running Breakthrough. So who knows. [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/MotoxXxRacer/misc/102.gif[/img]

You can join the servers, so lets just say i run spearhead i wana host a spearhead dedicated server.. How do i host it?? someone please tell me im a real noob at this

ok this is my problem.. i can get in but my friends say they time out.... and somebody said something about opeing ports and also heres a website that i found and i have no clue what to do.. so can someone walk me through.. k nvm i fixed the problem.. now my question is when i try to join my server it says this "server is using an older version (2.0) so now what do i do.. please help

Install the newest patch into your server.
