Has anyone else here seen this movie?

I saw it last night with my g/f.....Blew my fucking mind. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Amazing.

If you haven't viewed it - I recommend it. Acting is great, plot is very good, writing isn't perfect but damn near - and the acting certainly made up for anything that I didn't like about it.

Has to be Don Cheadle's greatest performance excluding Hotel Rwanda.

I found it interesting that almost every character dealt with racism in an entirely different way, whether it be exploiting it, denying it, openly doing it or what have you.
I liked it how it wasn't too cliche either - I get sick of being told I'm a racist prick because I'm white. This movie takes it a little deeper than that - to the roots of stereotyping.

It got a good rating from IMDB so I'll have to check this out.

Yea, its better than American History X. I liked American History X, its a good movie, but it made racism much too much about partisan politics. All conservatives are facist bastards, and liberals are the poor, downtrodden champians of da black man. All I got from this movie is that prison rape turns you into a pussy democrat.

...No to be honest, she is fairly out of her typical pigeon holed romcom character in this one - She plays a real bitchy rich wife.....but she shares screentime with like 8 or 9 other main cast members and isn't actually in it enough to drive anyone away from the film - Unless you instantly die upon hearing her voice.....

gravedig. I watched this movie tonight and wow, I was pretty moved in some parts of it(especially the lock installer and his daughter when the shop owner "paid a visit" loney: )

I thought ryan phillipe did a really good job in the movie as well.
