Im looking into buying a new Camera. Looking around the price or 200-300. 300 is my max price any suggestions?

Can't go wrong with Canon or Olympus. I have a Canon PowerShot A95 and I love it.

I would advise you to skip HP cameras. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law have them and they're fucking garbage.

Canon and Kodak make the best bang/buck point and shoots, IMO.

i got the canon powershot sd300, its a nice little camera but i wish it had a better zoom. i got it for its compactness and it can also take video as well.

atleast 10 from the past 6months

Either buy a basic 3mega pixel or a higer end model in the 600 + range. 200.. to 400 digitals i find show little improvement, a good lense + optical zoom + night shooting = good enough for us PASer's..

it is 7.2mega pixels and cost me $350. tho i got it at cost price from a dealer my dads business buys from, it is regular like 500. if you want i can possible hook you up with one for three fiddy.

Fuji makes good quality cheap cameras, take a look at them. What type of pictures will you be taking with it? And if your into photo editing hardcore get a camera with alot of megapixles.

Alright thanks for the suggestions guys. Its really for my dad, all he really wants to do is have a camera to take pictures and take some pictures of my sister playing soccer.
