isnt there translations in the game like in the first mission the german soldier is asking what cargo you are carrying etc etc? i would like to know what they are saying some of the time

yes there is. I thought there was an option where u can select if u want translations. I dont know exactly where it is. Try advanced settings or something.

yea thats a great mod the germans have some hilarious conversations during the undercover missions.

I believe the mod is Jesta's subtitles mod, isn't it?

It translates most of the scripted parts, such as conversations between German personnel in the U Boat level, though it does not translate taunts.

Try the Operation Torch level...the bunker/lighthouse mission that starts after the airfield raid. At the bottom of the steps, approach the door immediately to your left and you'll hear a an existentialist conversation. yea that same conversation is used in the Schmerzen level too.
How bout on the Trondheim mission when the 2 workers are talking about the Norwejian resistance hiding all the pretty girls in bunkers so the Germans couldnt use them to make the master race, and how the SS is looking for those bunkers? ;x

For me as a German all of these messages are pretty good made. No accents no stupid translations. I think they used native German speaking actors, when you hit an axis Soldier sometimes he scream:"Auauauauau" the first time I encountered that a was truly shoked. That sounded like a real person is in pain and agony.

Yeah, Jesta's subtitle mod is wicked. I think you have to start a new game for it to work, though. The conversations some of the Krauts have are priceless.

Any takers out there who would want to sit and translate all the German taunts? 2015 didn't write the translations for it, so I'd have to manually add those subtitles myself with the help of anyone who speaks German..

Problem is, I don't know any German at all.

And whoever would have the balls to do it would have to realize there are 100+ wavs that would need to be translated.

While they are doing that, I'd have to make subtitles for all the Allied taunts that you hear in the game, cause 2015 didn't make any subtitles for those either, even though anyone can clearly understand what is being said.

Still, I never liked the idea that my mod was only subtitles for a portion of the things said in the game...

I'd definitely make an updated version if anyone out there would actually want to spend the hours it would take to listen to every German wav file, and translate it...
