"Enter Sandman" and "Fade to Black" are probably two of my least favourite Metallica songs, to be honest. Fade to Black is ok, but Enter Sandman drives me nuts....ugh.

Enter Sandman is there most overrated IMO

Blackened is fucking awesome, great start to the whole cd. I can listen through to the end of And Justice.

So many more bands put out better thrash even during Metallica's prime. Kreator, Sodom, and Slayer all had way better stuff at the same time.


I'm not saying Metallica is bad, because they did kick major ass and definitely influenced thrash and all metal. But they are utterly overrated.

I wouldn't say Metallica are "underrated" these days...just loathed by a lot of fans of their older stuff. I can see why...I get it. I still like their music, however, and feel they still have something to offer to the genre.
