I want and believe the White Sox will win the World Series...but the Astros deserve to be there.

with our 4 horseman pitching the way they have, id say starting pitching straight up is just about even (right now id lean more towards the sox, 4 complete games in a row is as good as starting pitching gets) however, my sox have the edge. freddy garcia is the difference maker, we tag brandon backe, and freddy takes into the 7th or more twice and there is your series.

right now, i see my sox taking it in 6. of course, anything can happen, and thats why the games are played. i am so god damn excited right now.

the bulls championships were amazing, for the first 3 i was pretty young and by the second three peat we were pretty used to winning. must be like the yankees fans felt from 98-2003.

this is a new experience for Chicago...a fucking world series! im speaking for both cubs and whitesox fans here, we just dont know what its like!! this place is going to be electric this weekend, and i am so glad im gonna be a part of it!

let me give you a fair comparison. i grew up in Beverly, which is right off the dan ryan 10 minutes from the loop. The south side is not trashy at all, in fact, my neighborhood Beverly was ranked in the top 10 places to raise a family in the country a number of times in the past decade. its mostly all irish (which i am not).....you may be mistaken like most noobs who know nothing about Chicago, that parts of the south suburbs such as robbins and harvey are shitty, which they are....these are suburbs. god i hate it when bitches like you generalize and dont know shit from shinola.

i moved to wrigleyville in april, yes a diehard soxfan living on the northside, 2 blocks from wrigley. i am 25 years old, and next to lincoln park or bucktown, wrigleyville is the place to live for young people. the women are amazing and plentiful, and i have enjoyed my time up here thus far.

speaking from EXPERIENCE, i would have to say that most gripes about northside vs southside are almost all stereotypical. yes, there is boystown up north, and yes its rather close to wrigley. it does not spill over into other neighboorhoods...trust me there isnt a constant stream of fags walking around. its never bothered me, nor have i even seen them.
