I've been ditching school for the first time this year. I think I have senioritis. eek:

I'm so fucking sick of school. Uh... I want independent studies now. I can't though because my dad won't put any ARGUMENT into the idea. Even when I'm 18, I still need his permission. annoy:

you're in high school? if so, just suck it up. its your last year. if you're in college and skipping class, well...don't fuck it up lol you'll be doing harm to whoever it is thats paying for your education.

Just keep going to class and don't do any work. Skip whenever you want, but not too often.

In college, you can skip all your lectures if want...

I'm a senior too, but of course, I have to be in 4 AP classes...I'm working pretty hard, doing an AP Psychology project right now actually, but once APs are over, I am fucking done. I think I might have a little slump after midterms too.

Meh, I just want that acceptance letter from college.

How many people actually need their freshman lectures? Most of the stuff is common info, plus all of my teachers posted the lecture slides online.

Nah, I don't quit anything, I just try to find a way to do things that are more comfortable for me (Independent studies). I'm sure most of you are a lot more busy than I am, but at the same time probably more efficient with time and organization and all that other good stuff. I'm not too good with it, and having to wake up in the morning and go to school is kind of a hassle because it's, for lack of a better word, a static schedule. I'd rather be doing all my work at home, at my own pace. Given that, I can put more time towards working (once I get a job).

Oh don't complain about high school, it is fucking nothing. Just go to class....hell sleep through it if ya want.

In univeristy you can skip lectures cuz sometimes all they read is what you're already given which is a waste of time, but make sure you do all your work.

Just skip as much as you can. That's what i did almost every semester, just skipped the exact amount they allowed me to and slip by because the work is easy as fuq.

I skipped some of my classes in college, but my work was sooo easy. I guess i could have done better if i'd have gone to all my classes.

Its hard to skip a class and get away with it at my school. You are only allowed to miss a class twice as many times as it is held per week. So If I have one class 2 times a week I can skip it 4 times before I get an auto F. However one of my prof's doesnt take attendance and well I rarely go to that class.

i suggest you get serious about life and stop shluffin off. or you can be one of those undesirable people working at mcdiddys with a 20 year tenure. your choice.

I'm being told by my counseler that I need parent permission to get into independent studies. Even though I am 18. I looked through a Independent Studies "manual", and it said nothing about needing parent permission after 18. Anyone have more information about this? eek: stupid:
