Saw this preview a while back. Movie looks amazing. Hopefully it lives up to expectations. I will definetely see this one.
|
Trailer isnt that great (im usually not a fan of those kind of action movies), but Ive heard so many good things about it I'll probably see it anyway.
When is it being released? |
March 2006, was supposed to be realsed in late 2005...but some say its because there is a scene were V blows up a train station in London [movie setting] (no civilians are in it, just to warn the government type action) but others say its because their over-editing the movie making it work better and possibly add some more scenes.

DC picked up the book and published the work. Alan Moore is really good at this type of story telling. 1984-esque stuff... As far as it translating to the big screen who the fuck knows....solid cast though so i doubt we will see a League of X Gent type debacle although that movie was sort of fun to watch....
As I alwasy say read the fucking comic as that is the true medium Alan Moore's work shines in.... http://www.britannia.com/history/g-fawkes.html ^^^^for the idiots stupid: Ill actually crawl out of my hole to see this on the big screen. Machette check out Bryan Talbot's Heart or Empire series along with Luther Arkwright series, both published by Dark Horse comics. http://www.darkhorse.com/search/search. ... ing=Luther Really good stuff...Also check out the first 20 or so issues of Warren Ellis' Planetary and Authority series...both good series with a pulp dystopian feel....
