My New car

Some of you know, last week I bought a new car, I was supposed to be buying a fiesta but found this one and because of its condition I bought it.

I had a few problems after I bought it - leaky sunroof and the back left window wouldnt go up after it was wound down eek: but both of which fixed with some adhesive sealant.

About the car itself - its a N reg 1996 Nissan Micra 9 years old. Its done 81,000 Miles and I got it for £1150 with 6 months tax and a years MOT from a garage, so I also have 3 months warranty on it.

I love the car, probably because its my first car and unlike alot of people I bought it myself, and wasnt given it. This is the first time its stopped raining since I got it, so heres a few pics of her.

having a right hand drive is normal over here, we also drive on the left hand side of the road.

All you older guys are the same. My father regrets to this day for selling his Road Runners. Kicks himself everyday for it.

elstatec 11-10-2005 07:45 AM

nissan micra, granny mobile.

Sgt>Stackem 11-10-2005 09:24 AM

at least it gets you on the road. Your first car doesnt need to be a prize, just reliable transportation. Maybe Jin-Roh can learn from you

11-10-2005 10:23 AM

You should have gotten a Renault or Peugot. French cars are beautiful.

Gratz none the less though :)

Pyro 11-10-2005 10:36 AM

As ive never been really to many places where driving is on the other side...

...do you guys have like...it where you walk on the left hand side...like her eit is normal...the right side of the stairs is for you to walk donw if ya are going down then if you go up you;re on the right too.

is it normal to base everythin from the left? because if not I don't see why you'd change it just for th epurpose of driving.

Poseidon 11-10-2005 11:03 AM

Normally when walking up/down stairs busy stairs its often keep to the left hand side.

then i must ask...is most people left handed over there....still seems odd to base it on our majority of the weak side.

Poseidon 11-10-2005 11:30 AM

No. Who cares anyway?
