I finally bought MOH warchest and loaded it up. For the past month I've been playing Call of Duty on my machine. thought I needed a change. My first impressions of MOH is good. I do miss some things that COD has:

1. the ability to aim down your sights, MOH only allows it for the sniper rifles.

2. the ability to go prone

3. the ablilty to lean left or right in the SP game.

Some Pluses for MOH:

1. Grenades are better has farther reach

2. ability to cook of grenades

3. better story line so far.

I wish thier was a MOD for single player that allows for sighting down the barrell of your weapons, going prone, and leaning in the SP game. Has anyone tried to mod this?

nuff said. though nyck and him do have a point. the game is not 4 years old, soon to be 5 years in january i think. cod i think was the first game with aiming down the sight right? so yeah you should've known before you bought it.

What a welcome from this bunch. I'am not complainin. I just don't fork out cash right off the bat , my dough just comes to hard for me. Why pay 40 to 60 dollars for each when I can get them all for $15. Also why get the bugfest from a brand new game, when I can get it later with the bugs already worked out. For that I thank all you vets for testing it out for me.

I will just play it out and see how it goes. I may fork out the cash for COD2, if my system supports it. I found that my system will not support MOH PA. I just do not have the cash again to update my 3d vedio/sound cared. I have an on board one on my motherboard. Those ATI and G force cards are not cheap. Maybe EA will do another patch that will allow me to play it with my system. Well if not money saved.

Well thier are MODDERS out thier that may just come up with those features I miss in COD for MOH. If not I will enjoy it as is.

Doom2 ? Tried the old Heritic years ago and hated it. The only time I have payed good money out was for Battlefronts, Combat Mission Barbarosa to Berlin and Combat Mission Africa Korp. Two of the best company/battalion sims out . Only got interested in shooters with COD. Got that for $20.00 just a few months ago.

well, anyway...for the person who made this thread, the mod you're looking for for MOHAA is called ironsights. you can look at mohfiles or the modding theatre maybe and do a search for ironsights. that lets you have the same zoom/view of COD.

Thanks for the info on ironsights mod. Well ta let ya guys know I am not entirely a cheap scape. I just picked up MOHPA and had to upgrade my onboard graphics for a GeForce FX5500 oc to operate it. That new PCI graphics card is great. I can't believe the difference! ed:

Edit: Also, don't rip on the guy's upgrade. Not everyone can afford to buy the latest and greatest hardware, and others choose to spend their money on other things (rentboys and beer).

Well MOHPA I got for $29 on sale at target. The G4 FX 5500, $120 with rebate $90 at Best Buy. I know I could have gotten both cheaper at E-Bay and the Card at Egghead. Well Being an exj-Jarhead of 13 years service I had to get MOHPA and the Card. The game and the Card worth it.

Right now I am stuck in MOHAA in the second mission on that Dang U-Boat. I can knock off all the crew with silencer no problem. The hard part is the time limit once you set the charges. I keep getting blown sky high with the sub. I am tryin to get the charges set and topside in less than 30 sec. should give me about a minute to deal with the company topside when I come out the hatch. Any advice?

As for MOHPA I will discuss in another thread. If you think it is bad in this forum try, a christain forum and you are an Apolstolic. I will discuss this subject in an other forum not here. Will accept discussion by e-mail. NOT HERE.

First go to the stern of the boat killing everybody, pick up the manifest, and place your bomb. Head back midship and kill the new guy in the control room, then on to the torpedo room killimg as you go. Place the bomb, set the timer, and skedadle for the control room where you have to kill that new guy again. Now up the ladder, through the hatch and get off the f*ckin boat. Once your off the boat start killing again.
