I was brousing about late last night, and I came across Zone say something about the domain about to go up?

Of course, I cannot find it now, but anyways...

Is it true? Is GF1 about to close?

domain expires sometime in dec(22nd or something)

unless badscript renews it or someone else takes on the responsibility

but then again, wouldnt that $100 be all we need to renew? home much does something like that cost?

Domain names cost like 15 bucks a year..

BS has said nothing to me or any of us about this.

Well they said the domain is up Dec. 22. I don't know about the hosting service. With this kind of traffic it's probably 100 a year easy.

I highly doubt he runs his own server.

from godaddy.com its like $8/year for a domain, and if badscript is paying whatever he pays per month for the hosting, has to be at least $30/month im sure he can afford the $8/year.

we cant just let this lie until the 22nd dec or it will just go under and any hope of trying to get the community together to do something about it, like raise funds via paypal or what not will not be possible.

We could give modship of a forum to whoever pays like 25 bucks or something.

Most domain sites offer 4 year packages not 1 year.

Im quite sure BS has a better hosting deal than 30$ a month, This site probably gets or got ashit load of hits when we had the actual site up with downloads and such.. Who knows
