Looking to buy a couple more, maybe another memory card as well with the 70 bucks I got from best buy.

Ive heard that Resident Evil 4 is the Jesus of Gamecube...anybody back that up?

what other games would you suggest. anybody play any mortal kombats or Need for speeds on it?

RE 4 alone is a reason to buy a game cube. Preorder the new Zelda. Soul Caliber is good.

RE4 is best game for GC it is the reason why i bought it, the game play is amazing the controls are tight and overall its a bitchin' game.

so they have improved the controls from previous RE games. I remember play the 1st couple on psx and the controls were fuckin shit.

If its smoother movement and targeting that is awesome

i heard that was the crappiest FF of them all. right along with mystic quest. anyhoo, yeah, you can't lose with resident evil 4. the remake of the 1st resident evil was very good too.

oh yes they made this amazing, i hated the older RE's the camera doesnt suck and you can see where you are going all the time and the aiming a top notch

its an over the shoulder view, nyck. and you can aim literally anywhere and go for head shots or leg shots or twat shots, etc. oh and don't play it on pro.

while that may be true, im a ff fanboi.

i'm the one male in my school that doesnt like FF7...i dunno, it just never striked me as a good game.

i always thought FF7 was incredible but thats cuz i never payed much attention rpg wise to anything else, i mean aside from chrono trigger. now i know of course that there are better rpg's out there.

re4 for sure, mario kart ds, mario gold toadstool tour, donkey konga, super monkey ball all great games. love my cube.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is one of my favorites for GC.

well, of course lol i mean mario cart is king of the cart games. but crash tag racing isn't too bad of an alternative.

I bought (ordered) since every bestbuy was fucking out of every gamecube game except for Gun, American Chopper and Pokemon (PS2 and xbawk games were chocked full of shit)

Im not one to buy 3rd party memory cards(Ive had shitty ones in the past)
but When I asked the guy to get it out of the case they were all in a little plastic display rack that said 19.99. I took it to the check out and it rings up 29.99 -7.50(25% off) for 22.49 I tell the cashier well they are back in the glass case for $19.99 before the 25% off and shes like " I can give it to you for $19.99 but not with the 25% off. I say Fine and pay.

I then walked right over to customer service, told the guy "look this thing was back there IN THE GLASS CASE where your associates put them in the 19.99 space, not where a customer accidentally put it" and I expected to pay 19.99 - the 25% off..He looked at the ad and said alright no prob. so I paid 15 bucks for a 30 dollar super card rock: rock:

um isn't RE4 also for PS2. No store carried it, so i didn't get it for Christmas. Is it as good as it's GC counterpart?

Yes RE4 is for ps2, but Im thinking of selling mine, plus I had the new card for camecube etc

RE4 on ps2 is said to not look as nice and load slower as well.

seems decent, but I heard its pretty short. not alot of replay value

I picked up this game for christmas that just recently came out, it's called "Super Mario Strikers". Basically soccer with Mario, fucking CRAZY fun game. Me and my two brothers beat the game in one day because we were so into it lol. It's challenging too, you can't really pwn the computer without trying.

nyck trade in all your games for store credit and gcube and wait for ps3 no joke

Re 4, if you don't mind kiddie games, I heard zelda windwaker is excellent, and then there is Fire Emblem, although it is an RPG.

I have the ps2 version, and I am quite content, tho ive given up on it for now, danm those chainsaw freaks. annoy: Whether for the Cube, or for Play Station, you will not be dissapointed, this is one of the best games of current gen, and its the best survival horror game I've ever played.

My best friend has it for GC, and I just bought it for PS2, and honestly there isnt much of a difference at all in the quality or gameplay. Plus, the PS2 has extras like side missions and new guns.

yea but getting it for the Cube is still a solid choice. The main thing that I noticed was the controls. They seem to be made for the Cube. Not that the PS2 controls are bad, they just arent quite as tight as the Cube controls, IMHO.

Umm, no. Not only does the GC have unique games (I've never played a GC, and even I can tell you that), store credit sucks ass, and even if he turned in every single piece of GC equipment he has, he still wouldn't have enough money to buy a PS3.
