Redundant iPod question

Ok, got some bucks and want to purchase an MP3 player. I kinda like the "flash memory" players over the "HDD" players.

I can get a 4G nano for $250 or a 4G Creative Zen for $200.

I'd rather save the $50 and pick up the Zen. What do you guys think?

Flash memory is nice, no moving parts to fuck up if you drop it. Go with the nano.

I wish they had 30 gig flash memory ipods that read as fast as HDDs.

I say pick up the zen micro, but pay $30 more ($230 total) and get 6gigs of space rather than the 4.

I have a nano and have no problems with it except it gets scratched easily. But its up to you.

Who really wants to play movies on something thats meant to be for portable music? Whole point of an mp3 player is music on the move same as a walkman. Dunno how many people wanna be walking down the street staring at a 2 inch screen or whatever squinting at the movie theyre trying to watch. oOo:

It does if you mod it.

People who work in those big electronic stores are idiots. Only 1 sales associate was able to answer my questions in Circuit City. Best Buy has shit and PC Richards is even worse. I'm going to Borders book store of all places to get my 4G Creative flash memory player. I'll post results upon my return.

Milla 12-31-2005 03:46 PM

Creative doesn;t make a flash memory player.

Came home empty handed. The other Borders store has what i want but they closed early today. Looks like i'll have to wait until at least Monday.

All i want is a 4G "flash memory" player for $200. Is that asking much ??

Nyck 12-31-2005 11:16 PM

yes it is
