2006 Ford Fusion
Thoughts on the car? I think I might get one. They are pretty nice looking and would be pretty cool with the V6. The car itself is based on the Mazda6 platform. Only cons from the reviews are: heavy low-speed steering, firm ride, can't see directly behind when backing up. The pros: European flair, roomy, solidly built. Another problem mentioned is heavy steering at low speeds. What exactly does that mean? I could only guess it just takes a little more muscle to turn. Anyway, all of it sounds good, I like that it has a lot of room to it. Once I get a job I think I can easily work something out with my dad to get me V6 SEL trim with everything at top quality and so on. So any thoughts about the car, would you get one?

No. Get a mazda 6 instead. Why by something based on the platform but not taking full advantage of it? Mazda's are nice cars. If you are going ot get something new, get something that wont fall apart and has a long life expectancy, not a ford.

dad just bought a mazda 3 sedan, its pretty sweet. luxurious, smooth and quiet ride, etc.
You can get a dodge charger for the same price or for an extra 2k you could get the base model 300C. Im sorry but this beats that ford by a huge margin
I always hated the front of that dodge there...
The only Charger worth its weight is the Daytona edition or the SRT-8, the other models are gay. Plus the car should of been a 2 door like the Mustang. GG dodge. but i think they learned their lesson with the Challanger they are making.
Guy I work with just bought one. He seems to like it.
I've always liked the Ford Five Hundred. I'm going to buy one of those, one of these days.
The problem with jap cars is that they fall apart when they have high mileage, or at least in my experiance they have. |

My roomate's dad owns one of the largest mineke(sp) shops. He says you are always seeing fords in the shop. But makes like Honda(accura), nissan, some mitsubishi's, a few domestic cars are in the shop very rarely and when they are its usually for something small like an oil change or tire roation. |
GM and toyota took nearly every award for dependability on the market in 2005. No one else came close. BMW & Volkswagon/Audi all came in dead last, with electrical failures being their big downfall.
get an altima or maxima
Get a '73 Duster, they continually outlast every new car that comes out again and again and again and.........

Thats typical for Volkswagen (the electrical problems). Im surprised with the Audi and BMW though. The Audi A4's (i was looking at getting one because ive heard nothing but good things about them) the 2000-2003 models are pretty cheap and are fucking nice and luxorious. Sexy and can be very fast. |
I had heard rumors of some BMWs back a few years having electircal problems. The thing is that there are so fucking many electronic, computerized, parts that by shear volume things where going to be wrong. I havnt hear about that problem in a few years though, and all repairs were covered by the dealership.
My gfs mom has a 325i, its fucking beautiful. I took it for a ride and she told me to get nasty on it, so i was going nuts with it, drove like a dream.
