I recently started at my new job, I like most people that work their but have been very close to one the lovely ladies that work there. Recently we've been flirting alot whilst working, been to the pub a couple times together, with the rest of the lot from work, and just generally just being pretty close friends.

However recently she's been making a move on me, touching me, jokingly asking me out, and whatver. So today I asked her if she wants to come out on a "date" next saturday (only day we both had off) -she instantly agree'd. So im gonna take her to a nice restaurant, then to the cinema. We have a whole day to ourselves - she wants me to pick up at 9pm and drop her home in the late evening, so we'll probably just walk around town for the rest of the day! Any ideas on anywhere else to take her? I thought ice skating, but its prollly a no, no for a first date happy:

Indeed, a nice dinner and maybe a movie, but not a long ass movie. A nice length film. This way you kind of break the ice by just being with eachother and not trying to impress eachother on the first date with words. This way on the next date it wont be as weird.

Not really sure what to go and watch though, thought maybe king kong, although i've already seen it, might be abit too long though, not sure. Jarhead looks awesome. Probably the wrong film to go and watch on a date though happy:

King kong is WAY to long for a first date mang, ask her what she wants to see, if she says i dont care than pic something not long as i stated earlier lol

best thing to try to do is find something that suits you both. I remember one time i went out on a date with a girl, and she wanted to see some really crappy romantic movie(forget what it was called), and after like 3/4 of the movie i couldn't take it, it was boring me to death, so i decided to rest my eyes....and well....that was the end of that, short relationship. loney:

Just been recommended by a friend "Just like heaven" I've not seen too much about this film, aparently its a "funny chick flick". He took his bird out to see it and said it was s good movie. Anyone else seen it? What you think to it? Chronicles of narnia looks pretty cool, again it looks too long.

btw hostal isnt on over here yet. It'll probably come out sometime in the next couple months. Besides it doesnt look like the sorta movie I want to watch on a first date!

Well, probably too late but one of my main rules is "Never date someone from the workplace".

Now that you went out and breached that advice, may i offer you this. Take her to dinner and to a "girl" movie. Forget King Kong and Jar Head. Find some dopey assed love story kinda movie. During the sensitive part, place you arm around her.

After the movie, if she invites you in, just follow her lead. Good luck and keep us posted.

I particularliy agree with the "dont crap where you eat " advice arkan has said. I dont think dating from the workplace is ever good. If you get into the relationship deep enough and you break up its gonna be akward as fuck being at work with her.

Make sure you cop a feel of her funbags, that way if your first date turns out to also be
your last, you can at least boast to everyone at work that you've titted the cow off.

Shes made it clear we'll be spending probably 12 hours out, im stumped for other things to do, apart from maybe walking round town around shops or sommat. Meal, Movie.

I've found arcades can be fun, fighting games and so forth. Two player shooters. Have fun with it "ah man you let me die!"... "no i didnt tee hee"... Games are a part of your life, give her that slight introduction via the arcade.
