I bought a car on MLK day (monday), finally got around to photographing it. Its a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, I bought it for 2350 (2700 with TTL).

UMM.... the Grand Am using an I4 engine you genius.......You ither have a qaud 4 engine, or one of the LD9 twin cams.... SO YES... You do have a 4 cyl engine. ONLY certain model GT's received the 3100 v6. AND that engine was still a POS.

4 cyl LD9 had 150 hp while the 3100 had 155....

Idiot, I have a Grand Am SE, not a GT. Its a V6 3.1L engine, I think I can see 6 fucking cylinders when I pop the hood, not 4.

I'm getting a VW bus soon - well not real soon, but soon enough - dad's friend has one he drove around but doesnt use anymore, it's back in a shed on his ranch.

The guy is telling me its an old beater and wont work for shit, so I might have to look for something else, but when I finally do get one I'm going to totally deck it out and include arabic carpets rock:

Yeah, my neighbors (back when I lived in California) had one, it was one of the comfiest things I've ever been in. Not the actual seats, but how much room it had, and how you could just kinda lay on the ground and stuff, real cool.

my friend's got a 71 VW bus that's he's restoring. he took the engine out of a 71 bug and the thing runs now, but floor pannels and seats and such need work.
