Airsoft match tonite (pics)

so i played my first match with my m4 and it actually worked pretty well

we were playing at night, in a pretty complex area, lots of land

1st match i had to hold a lower part of the river, there was a "construction site" at about 11 o clock where the enemy was coming from, the other two teams were a sniper team to the right of the barn, farther away from me, the other team using both mp5s probed the targets from a field. I had a perfect position with two logs giving me good cover. i got 2 confirmed kills, we destroyed them only losing one guy. we knew where they were the whole match, it was awesome.

2nd match i was on a team of basically all AEGs vs mostly spring players so we should have pwned. Instead the other team rocked half of ours and took over a bunker in the hills past a barn. i was in a team of 3 attempting to flank the barn. 2 of us decided to try and hit the bunker from its left flank, so we moved up a hill and observed em in the pitch black. we had them fooled for a while, and when the chance came to take em out, i switched to full auto and my gun stopped shooting...had it been on semi auto i could have taken out 4 people, we scared the shit out of them but both got taken out in the end.

very good tactical matches, we made good use of our radios in this game, since we really couldnt see shit if we got far enough away from the construction site besides flashlights...no one lost anything either surprisingly

then people won't know if your holding an actual gun oOo:

Milla 01-28-2006 11:36 AM

wtf...stfu. Spray it black lol. Reguardless if its orange or not, ganng members spray the tips of real guns orange to make it look fake, so a cop will not give a fuck if there is an orange tip or not, he will still make you put your hands up or shoot you on spot if you aim it at him.

Airborne Butters 01-28-2006 12:06 PM

I still don't really understand how to play airsoft...how do you know when you're hit? And how do you make the other team understand you're hit? When I played paintball it was pretty self explmanitory, but with airsoft it seems a little harder.

if youre honest you just fall down or say youve been shot, some people dont say it tho...you usually give a yelp too when you get shot cuz it hurts

I'm not going up against a bunch of Vietnam vets....they'll smoke me man.
I need to play against some urban punks instead.

Milla 01-28-2006 11:54 PM

Vietnam vet? lol i think that guy is younger than you Arkan biggrin:

Arkan 01-29-2006 09:19 AM

Milla, not that guy. Most guys that play here in leagues are actually Vietnam vets. They spank the shit out of everyone.....no fun in getting killed in the begining of the match.

Me and a few of my buddies are gonna play this year. I did play once in an urban setting with handguns. I got ambushed going down a corridor and managed to shoot the guy in the hand who was hiding behind a door. All he did was stick his hand out and fired down the hall. I had to stand in a door jam and return fire. The guy spallered the wall all around me but missed. I got the luckiest shot and hit him in his shooting hand. He couldn't believe it, neither did i.

Nyck 01-29-2006 09:22 AM

I played once with nam vets too. But I fucking quit after I fell into a pit filled with punji sticks. cuss:

Miscguy 01-29-2006 03:56 PM

I play with currently enlisted, and vets... Its not to bad, though i do tend to be on there team and we hand everyone else there ass. Though i am Army trained and know whats going on when they try doing shit against me and my squad.

HeadUp 01-29-2006 04:14 PM

well if anyone would ever want to come out and stay in pgh to play, a lot of you guys arent tooooo far away if we wanted to organize a gf1 match. rock:

Madmartagen 01-30-2006 04:41 PM

i havent played airsoft yet, only paintball. what type of of ammo do you use? pellets (foam?) or soft bbs? i wouldnt want to get hit with metal bbs.

Machette 01-30-2006 04:47 PM

Pretty heavy plasdtic bbs that do indeed leave welts and draw blood if you hit bare skin, you need to use the honor system when yo uare hit though because there is no paint to explode on you.

Unknown_Sniper 01-30-2006 05:22 PM

yeah plastic bb's. Ive been shot with a metal bb which hurts like all hell.
As for that silencer, it looks like its made of a tp roll, and electrical tape.
