Pretty interesting story, I think. She's supposed to be staying with my sister while my dad comes back to town from Minnesota. So my sister gets professional training for free practically.

there is no competition for Canada in Women's hockey, so whats the point in participating?

Not to get off topic, but Canada's female team is unreal. They stomp the competition, if anyone's been watching.

They won't get by the US team so easily. It's really a two team tourney...no one else is even close.

yea not sure hockey is very big with italian women

Yeah I usually pass on female hockey but I took a look at the scores in the games and a just couldn't believe it. I've yet to see america play so I'm anxious to watch a good solid olympic game. From the looks of it you're right.

yeah USA is the only competition...but I still consider it like watching lets say the capitols playing the red wings.

Like they have their overchekin...but thats about it.

There was a time when Canada lost 9 straight games to the US in exhibition and other international tourneys I believe. Then on the 10th Canada won, which was the gold medal game in 2002. I believe the US was favoured to win the gold medal but Canada came out on top in that game. The US did have a very good team, probably better than Canada, currently, i'm not sure.

BTW, Canada beat Sweden 8-1 this morning.
