Going to Los Angeles
 

I'm leaving for Los Angeles next Wednesday and will leave the following Tuesday. I'm staying at the Embassy Suites in Brea. Anybody from the L.A. area know of good restaurants and places I can go to while I'm there? And yes, of course I have to go down to Compton to see my old homies once again.

Newport Beach is the nicest place in the LA area, in my opinion.

Depends on what you want to do, how long are you gonna be here? I live in Orange County, approx 30miles south of LA, theres alot to do here, and its not much of a commute. You can do the typical Hollywood thing - look at teh walk of fame, go see a movie at the Chinese theatre, go to clubs, eat at Pinks hotdogs (not fancy), go to Universal Studios etc. What kind of places do you want to go other than to eat? Orange County is a nice place to visit too, it takes about an hour to drive down here during the day or 20-30 minutes at night. I will ask my friend what places you should go to, shes there every week.

Where the heck have you been. They have remodeled the entire area. Its actually clean now with lots of shops and restaurants. Not a bad area to visit now. Was there a month ago.
