It would be cool if they were clever and funny.....but they suck.

that one was funny.

Machette 03-08-2006 10:49 AM

Why use Che? He became disillusioned with Communism...thats one of the many reasons he left Cuba..gg oOo:

c312 03-08-2006 11:32 AM

why use che? because he's the one on the t-shirts that people try to wear to be cool...

Pyro 03-08-2006 11:38 AM

True...but you're just as much as a followerer for wearing the other one with him crossed out.

Just like goths thinking they're individual by acting like a million other people.

c312 03-08-2006 11:48 AM

no, not really. By wearing the crossed out Che shirt, the person is ridiculing the people who wear Che shirts. It doesn't have much to do with the intention, I only mentioned that some people wear Che shirts to seem cool because that seems like the only reason they would wear one, to seem counterculture.

Machette 03-08-2006 11:51 AM

I'll admit that your argument has proven grounds...a majority of people who wear shirts with che on them don't even know what he has done..But like I said he left cuba because he didn't like the soviets style of communism and castro's style as well. He went off into the congo to fight injustice...and then into Bolivia but was killed by you know who.

c312 03-08-2006 12:48 PM

ok.

Machette 03-08-2006 02:53 PM

Evil Bastards.

Israel's defense minister warned Tuesday the incoming Hamas prime minister would be assassinated
if the Islamic militant group resumes attacks

...just thought I'd point to that rather important little detail. eek: sleeping:

Machette 03-08-2006 08:37 PM

Titles, always, are misleading.

Madmartagen 03-08-2006 08:47 PM

well if hamas is the new leader of the palestinians, isnt any attack perpetrated by them an act of agression by one country on another? sounds like a legitimate excuse for israel to roll tanks in.

I think the palestinian attacks will continue even if hamas stop all the actions of their militias,
just as hamas terrorists have hampered the already corrupt fatah party from any chance of effective
rule, just watch now as the pissed-off by the elections fatah militia become the terrorists and try to
make sure hamas fails and Israel is continuously provoked. Or perhaps the group Palestinian Islamic Jihad
might pretend to be fatah attackers disguised in hamas colours just to keep themselves busy.

You are exactly correct. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

erm, wasn't what Sharon was trying to achieve just prior to his stroke the opposite of "rolling the tanks in"?
..even as attacks from various palestinian groups continued.

The Israelis are not as predictable as the palestinian militias or certain gf1 members appear to be.

Why do we love Israel so much?

They're no better than the people they are against.

I say let them both destroy each other.

Vance 03-09-2006 04:12 PM

We love them 'cause they have a kick-ass Air Force. biggrin:

Hamas wasn't the elected representative of Palestine at that point.

Eight Ace 03-09-2006 08:37 PM

yes, I know it's different now and it's going to be hard for the Israelis to take any crap
from a group whose agenda before the elections was to wipe them off the face of the earth.

It's up to hamas now to show if they're serious about peace, if they will even recognise Israels right to exist,
and if they can rein in all the palestinian groups who may not agree with them as they begin to negotiate.

And reverese-engineered it. It's better than ours now. If their Air Force was 3/4 what ours is now, they would have the greatest air power the world has ever seen.

Pyro 03-09-2006 09:39 PM

so I see you like countries that gain you $$.

Well...puts Iraq into perspective...if it's profitable...why not murder innocents?

Wow, this is the basic definition of "income". Are you familiar with this? What kind of backwards-ass mindset do you have that you'd rather like countries who cost you money? eek:

The second half of your drivel isn't even worth quoting, so I won't go there. You see, I have character.

Unfotunately for you, the popular opinion on my posts around here isn't that they're incohherent drivel not even worth attempting to comprehend.

...and people aren't telling me to stop posting after every post - Maybe you should take some of the advice instead of denying the validity of it.

So - You're wrong. lol.
