You're fucking kidding right? A 64 is fucking horrible. Seriously man. . .you dont want to be one of this "ASVAB Point Waver" kids who say they want to be infantry-men. And getting into the marines is no big accomplishment.

Vance 03-25-2006 11:55 AM

A 64 isn't horrible, I don't know where you got that. Your entire ASVAB score encompasses different parts of the test (Mechanical, electronic, etc) so if he scored low on one part and high on all the others, his grade would be effected. Like me, I got a 69, I did terrible on mechanical because I know close to nothing about that sort of stuff, but I did good on all the other parts. I'm also in intelligence with the USAF and have one of the highest grades in my class. Don't let these fools mess with ya Jimmy.

*Waits for jokes about military intelligence*

Jimmy Paterson 03-25-2006 12:13 PM

all of my line scores were over 100 I just dont know the exact number of them all

Never claimed to be a "super genius",and in that so graciously posted link i explain i suck at math. Though i did not know that only a 31 was needed for marines. If i recall right i think a 50 was required for the Army, and thusly a 64 isnt mind blowing by Army standards. Hell even my score was "average". Hense why my "average" of 72 would bring on a retarded comment.

50 is required if you have a GED, for both the Marine Corps and the Army, other wise the army should be 31 but I know of a few people who they let in with scores of 18 or higher......

Miscguy 03-25-2006 01:29 PM

18.. Isnt that just a walking semi talking vegtable?

Himmler 03-25-2006 03:22 PM

i was a sophomore i think back then, i would like to take them again if that its possible just to see if i my score would be better, because i think it would be. i forget what was even on the test, but i know back then i didnt know jack shit about mechanics or that kinda stuff and i do no so i think i could do a lot better now.

Simo Häyhä 03-25-2006 03:59 PM

I think he owned you.

Stil, I dont think you have any place to say "you're retarded" when you claim the only reason you got that low of a score was because of long division....wtf....seriously. Long division....and elementary math rolleyes:

Miscguy 03-25-2006 07:56 PM

When was the last time you did long division on paper? Dont forget all the remainder shit and all that. I didnt say long division was the only reason, i said it was something that i hadnt done in ages. Perhaps i should have gone into each indiviual math problem i had trouble with, but i didnt feel like breaking it down for you. I simply recalled having the most trouble with long division, the algebra was fairly easy since it was recent.

And frankly the only way im "owned" in this is if i had claimed i got a 297429729 and then he gives the thread. As is a 72 is still far better than his 64 when you look at the test and its grading.

Jimmy Paterson 03-25-2006 08:00 PM

I would have done better but I wasn't taking my time, I was doing it fast, and for some questions as I clicked one answer and went to click enter to go to the next I realized I clicked the wrong answer but it was to late...
