What part of maine? eek: Northern main is basically 50/50 canada/usa, Coastal = tourist mecca, central = Im sorry you are moving there, south west = Ship yards up the wazoo, and Western(next to NH) is an ok area. I've been all over Maine and in general its a rather nice state. Just the right size, not to large, yet not that small. The people are nice(except for tourists), So many excellent places to camp or go kayaking etc. And the lbsters are cheap as hell and the best you will ever have.

Where exactly in maine is it, im up in Saco/Sebago/Naples/Portland a lot.

Portland area is nice. Been there a half dozen times in the last 2 years. There is a decent bar scene, but a definite small town feel to it compare to Baltimore. The center of the Old Port reminded me of the town square in Back to the Future. Good luck.
